Roxy Arecco is an NYC-based actor, writer, and comedian. She was recently seen as Hannah Jarvis in Tom Stoppard's Arcadia and originated three roles in James Kelsey Nelson's Cambriolage at the Gallery Players Theater. In July, she'll perform the role of Luke in Elements: A Genre Bending War Play Featuring Famous Faces and Gwyneth Paltrow at the NuBox Theatre.
Roxy is a graduate of NYU Tisch, where she earned a BFA in Theater. She’s trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, Stonestreet Studios, the Upright Citizens Brigade, and has also watched The Devil Wears Prada probably 50 times, which she thinks should count.
Roxy grew up in Westchester County, just 40 minutes outside of Manhattan, where she participated in as many theater productions and music-related activities as possible. Some of her favorite roles include Chava in Fiddler on the Roof, Emily Webb in Our Town, and the gong soloist in her high school choir’s rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody".
A Pisces through and through, you can usually find Roxy crying in Central Park or taking a very long, very hot shower. She also enjoys performing with her improv team, Up to No God, baking, doing arts and crafts, and using her AMC Stubs A-List membership (this is not an ad but she would be very open to that).
